The AnyList skill allows you to sync your lists with Amazon Alexa. After enabling the skill, you can ask Alexa to add an item to your list and it will instantly appear in AnyList.

How do I enable the AnyList skill for Amazon Alexa?

Note: If you were previously using an IFTTT applet and AnyList’s Reminders Import feature to have Alexa add items to AnyList, we recommend disabling the IFTTT applet before enabling the AnyList skill.

  1. Tap the Enable button.

  2. Tap the Save Permissions button to grant the AnyList skill permission to read and write your Amazon Alexa lists.

  3. Sign in to your AnyList account to link your Amazon Alexa lists to AnyList.

  4. Tap Done.

Once the skill is enabled, if you open AnyList and go to the Lists screen, you will see a new list named Alexa Shopping List and one named Alexa To-do List.

To use the skill, just ask Alexa to add an item to one of those lists. For example, if you say "Alexa, add milk to my shopping list", then "Milk" will be added to the Alexa Shopping List in AnyList within a few moments.

To share your Alexa Shopping or To-do lists with other members of your household that use AnyList, please follow the steps here.

You can also choose to sync any of your existing AnyList lists with Alexa by following the instructions here.
