What can I do if Alexa says it added an item, but it's not appearing in AnyList?

When asking Alexa to add an item with a command like:

“Alexa, ask AnyList to add apples to my grocery list”

Alexa should respond:

“AnyList added apples to my grocery list”

If Alexa’s response does not begin with “AnyList added…”, then Alexa added the item to one of its own lists instead and the item will not appear in AnyList.

If this happens, you can try issuing the command again.

If Alexa fails to recognize a command, you can help Amazon improve Alexa by reporting the error directly to Amazon.
