How do I enable AnyList for the Google Assistant?

  1. Open AnyList, select the Settings tab and tap on Google Assistant under the Voice Assistants section. Then tap the Open Assistant App button.

Note: If you don't see the Google Assistant option, please install the latest AnyList app update from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Select AnyList as the lists provider for your Google Assistant and you’ll be prompted to sign in to your AnyList account.

Note: Google Assistant currently supports the English language only for this feature. If your Google Assistant language is not set to English, you'll likely see an error message.

  3. Return to AnyList and choose the list(s) you want to sync with your Google Assistant.

Now you can ask your Assistant on your mobile device or Google / Nest branded smart speaker or display to add an item to that list by name, e.g. “Hey Google, add apples to my grocery list”.

Note: Sonos and other 3rd party Google Assistant-enabled smart speakers and displays do not currently support interacting with list apps.
