How do I select which of my AnyList lists to sync with Google Assistant?
⚠️ Google is shutting down the Google Assistant Notes & Lists integration for non-Google apps on June 20, 2023. Learn More
Note: Make sure you have first enabled AnyList for the Google Assistant.
-
Open the List Settings screen for the list you want to sync.
-
Tap the Google Assistant switch.
-
Now you can ask your Assistant to add an item to that list by name, e.g. “Hey Google, add apples to my grocery list”.
You can view a full list of supported voice commands here.
Alternatively, you can go to the Google Assistant settings screen to manage all of your lists.
Note: The Google Assistant settings screen is not currently available in AnyList for the Web or AnyList for Mac.
-
Select the Settings tab, scroll down to the Voice Assistants section, and tap Google Assistant.
-
You will see all of your lists sorted alphabetically and can tap the switch next to a list to start or stop syncing that list with your Google Assistant.
Note: When you stop syncing a list with Google Assistant, the corresponding Google Assistant list will be automatically deleted.
