How can I view and interact with my lists on Alexa devices that have a screen?
If you have an Alexa device with a screen, such as the Echo Show, you can use the commands below to view and interact with your lists.
Note: Make sure you have first enabled the AnyList skill by following the instructions here.

Viewing a List
- “Alexa, tell AnyList view the grocery list”
- “Alexa, ask AnyList to show my packing list”

Voice Interactions With a List on the Screen
Note: When AnyList is open on the screen of your device, such as when viewing a list, you must omit "ask AnyList" / "tell AnyList" from your commands, as shown in the examples below.
When a list is being shown on the screen, you can ask Alexa to read the items by saying things like:
- “Alexa, read it”
- “Alexa, read the list”
- “Alexa, speak the items”
When a list is being shown on the screen, you can ask Alexa to modify the list by saying things like:
- “Alexa, add milk”
- “Alexa, remove eggs”
- “Alexa, cross off bread”
Touch Interactions With a List on the Screen
When a list is being shown on the screen, you can:
- Scroll up or down to view all the items on your list
- Tap once on an item to cross it off your list
- Swipe from right to left to remove an item from your list
