How do I enable the AnyList skill for Amazon Alexa?

Use one of the links below to open the AnyList skill in the Alexa Skills store for your region.

Or open the Amazon Alexa app on your phone, go to the Alexa Skills store and search for “AnyList”.

Tap the Enable to Use button.

Sign in to your AnyList account to link your Amazon Alexa lists to AnyList.

Tap Close.

Tap the Save Permissions button to grant the AnyList skill permission to read and write your Amazon Alexa lists.
Once the skill is enabled, if you open AnyList and go to the Lists screen, you will see a new list named Alexa Shopping List and one named Alexa To-do List.
To use the skill, just ask Alexa to add an item to one of those lists. For example, if you say "Alexa, add milk to my shopping list", then "Milk" will be added to the Alexa Shopping List in AnyList within a few moments.

How do I grant list read / write permissions to the AnyList skill for Amazon Alexa?
The AnyList skill requires permission to read and write your Amazon Alexa lists. If you did not grant these permissions when enabling the skill, you can grant the permissions now by following these steps:

Open the Amazon Alexa app on your phone.

Tap the More button and choose Skills & Games.

Then select Your Skills and tap the AnyList skill.

Tap on Settings.

Tap on Manage Account Permissions.

Check the boxes for List Read Access and List Write Access.

Once both boxes are checked, tap the Save Permissions button.

Open AnyList and you should see Alexa Shopping List and Alexa To-do List on the Lists screen.
How do I disable the AnyList skill for Amazon Alexa?
If you no longer wish to use the AnyList skill, you can disable it by following these steps:

Open the Amazon Alexa app on your phone.

Tap the More button and choose Skills & Games.

Then select Your Skills and tap the AnyList skill.

Tap the Disable Skill button.
After disabling the skill, you will still see an Alexa Shopping List and Alexa To-do List in AnyList, but they will no longer stay in sync with your Amazon Alexa lists. You can delete the lists in AnyList by following the steps here.
